Abstract
イソ酪酸メチルの無触媒における酸素酸化を129~150℃,アンプル中でおこない,反応生成物から反応過程を検討した。酸素はまずカルボメトキシ基にたいしα 位の水素を攻撃し,通常の酸素酸化機構に従って,α-カルボメトキシイソプロポキシラジカルを形成する。生成物はこのラジカルの水素引抜き反応とβ-切断をおこす分解反応の相対反応性に支配される。両反応の相対速度は生成物のα-オキシイソ酪酸メチル,アセトンおよび原料残存量から計算し,その温度依存性から活性化エネルギー差は5.6(kcal/mol)で,分解反応の方が大きな活性化エネルギーを必要とする。生成物比におよぼす溶媒の影響から分解反応の遷移状態は極性をもつと推定される。分解で生じるカルボメトキシラジカルは二酸化炭素とメチルラジカルに分解し,後者は酸化されてメタノールとなる。壌緒言
