Abstract
老化はがん，心筋梗塞，脳梗塞，糖尿病，アルツハイマー病，サルコペニアなどの現代の難治性疾患の主要な危険因子であり，老化のメカニズムの理解とその技術的解決は現代医学の未解決問題を一網打尽で解決し，健康な生存期間を飛躍的に延長できる可能性を秘める．本稿では大学の老化研究を臨床応用する試みを紹介し，老化予防，さらには若返りを標ぼうする21世紀型健康科学の到来の兆しを読者に提供する．
