Abstract
Freshwater bivalves Sinanodonta sp. (Bivalvia: Unioniformes: Unionidae) are recorded in the Chagan Lake basin (Jilin Province, Northeast China) for the fi rst time. Their species affi liation is discussed and original photographs of three species of the genus are provided.
