Selection of sorbent for oxytetracycline preconcentration from solutions

Abstract
The sorption of oxytetracycline has been studied in the static and dynamic mode on the different types of sorbents, such as hyper-cross-linked polystyrene, copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene Strata SDB-L, N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone surface-modified copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene Strata-X, carbon nanomaterial Taunit, and diethylaminoethylcellulose. The peculiarities of oxytetracycline sorption depending on the solution acidity, oxytetracycline concentration, the nature of the solvent, and the structural characteristics of the sorbents have been explained.
