Abstract
The reaction of 1-substituted 4,4,4-trichloromethylbutane-1,3-diones with o -phenylenediamine afforded 4-substituted 2-trichloromethyl-3 H -1,5-benzodiazepines with antimicrobial and antinociceptive activities.
