The main activity of the laboratory is the development and research of mathematical and simulation models to support decision–making in industrial and sociotechnical systems, including using tools based on artificial intelligence technologies.

Participation in ensuring the interaction of fundamental and applied science with the educational process in solving the problems of modernization of economic systems, using the results of scientific research in the training and additional education of personnel, conducting master's and dissertation research

The purpose of the scientific project is to build a model for the functioning of a scientific library that contributes to the creation of an effective information and communication infrastructure to support open science, manage scientific content, provide open access to information and data, provide high-quality information services in the life cycle of research based on the analysis of international experience, prospects for the development of open science in Russia, systematization of existing and new ones instruments and their experimental operation in the framework of cooperation with research teams engaged in research in the field of humanities and social sciences.
