Nano Bio Photonics Lab
The Nano-Biophotonics Lab at the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering at Korea University (Sejong) conducts research in electronic engineering, optics, biotechnology, and diagnostic medicine. The lab focuses on interdisciplinary convergence research, including biomedical engineering. A new imaging technology called 'Lensfree Shadow Imaging Technology (LSIT)' has been developed using CMOS image sensors, widely used in smartphones, to innovate large-scale and expensive cell analysis devices. This technology was developed in collaboration with MetaImmune Co., Ltd. Efforts are being made to commercialize fundamental research outcomes across various research, industrial, diagnostic, and clinical fields.
