20th Congress of the European Society for Photobiology (ESP 2023)

On behalf of the European Society for Photobiology (ESP) and the Local and Scientific Organizing Committees we cordially invite you to participate in the 20th Congress of the European Society for Photobiology, which will be based in Lyon (France) and held in École Normale Supérieure de Lyon from August 27-30, 2023. The 20th edition of ESP will return to the country where the very first photobiology meeting occurred to celebrate this important landmark. As with past ESP congresses, even in virtual mode (19th ESP 2021), we are sure that this meeting will provide a unique international forum for the dissemination of new research, technological development and applications in the photobiological sciences.

With the help of the ESP Scientific Advisory Board, a scientific program of sessions is being created on a wide range of topics covering the main streams of photobiology sciences. These topics will be covered by the leading worldwide experts in more than 30 parallel symposia, interactive poster sessions, as well keynote and plenary lectures on exciting developing areas, including talk(s) by the 2023 ESP Young Investigator Awardee(s). The ESP is committed to also provide a fellowship scheme to encourage the active participation of young scientists to the Congress.
