About conference
As Chair and on behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I would like invite you to the 25th Conference on Organometallic Chemistry (EuCOMC XXV Conference) which will take place in Alcalá de Henares (Spain) on September 4th - 8th, 2023.
This conference will offer opportunities to discuss the latest developments, achievements and prospects in Organometallic Chemistry. Special interest will be focused on creating a stage for the exchange of latest research results and the sharing of advanced research methods in the field of Organometallic Chemistry.
In addition, this XXV meeting is the perfect forum to celebrate the anniversary of the Nobel Prize awarded to Profs. G. Wilkinson and E.O. Fischer for their pioneering work on the chemistry of organometallic sandwich compounds.
Beyond the scientific interest of this meeting, Alcalá de Henares has remarkable cultural, architectural and gastronomic offers which you can enjoy during the conference. Alcalá de Henares was declared a World Heritage City in 1998 and is the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, universally renowned for his novel “Don Quixote”. Furthermore, Alcalá University is a modern Institution, founded by Cardinal Cisneros in 1499: a novel educational project at the time.
