About conference
Center for Energy Science and Technology supported by RSF grant №23-73-30003 organizes an International School-Conference of Young Scientists in Microscopy of Materials. The conference covers the emerging topics of Microscopy of Materials and give in overview in the recent advances in this field. This annual event gives an opportunity to young scientists to improve both theoretical and practical skills in the top Russian microscopy laboratory and to discuss the advances and problems with top scientists in this field.
Program
The conference will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of modern electron microscopy as well as atomic-force microscopy. Practical work will be done in the labs in 3 tracks under supervision of qualified personnel. “The Best Performance Award” will be given for the best results. Maximal number of Participants is 30.
Practical work. Tracks:
- Scanning electron microscopy (basic and advanced methods incl. FIB, EDX, EBSD)
- Transmission electron microscopy (basic and advanced methods incl. EDX, EELS, electron tomography)
- Atomic force microscopy (basic and advanced methods)
