16th European Biological Inorganic Chemistry Conference

The European Biological Inorganic Chemistry Conference (EuroBIC) series is one of the leading international meetings on Bioinorganic chemistry, associated with the international learned Society of Biological Inorganic Chemistry. With the participation of renowned researchers from all over the world, EuroBIC provides a unique platform to present and discuss the latest developments in all areas at the interface between inorganic chemistry and life sciences. All topics in the field of bioinorganic chemistry are welcome at the conference, including broader emerging areas where it interfaces with nanoscience, synthetic biology and supramolecular chemistry, as examples.

This meeting will be organized and supported by the Grenoble Institute of Metals in Biology. Defined as a thematic research network, the institute bring together a large community of researchers from the University Grenoble Alpes who share a common interest in the role of metals in living systems. With its unique scientific environment that includes the university campus and the west scientific center, and building on its success in organizing ICBIC 16 in 2013, this 150-member community of chemists, biologists and physicists, is looking forward to hosting the next Eurobic.
