About conference

Dear colleagues, the 8th International Conference "Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics" will be held on board a comfortable riverboat cruising on the route Moscow – Kostroma – Moscow from September 1 through September 6, 2024. Like the previous "Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics" Conferences held since 2001, the forthcoming Conference is devoted to recent progress in the interrelated fields of nonlinear dynamics and its most advanced applications to physical systems of different origins.

The format of the Conference offers an excellent opportunity for unlimited informal discussions in addition to usual session presentations. This year the cruise starts in Moscow and goes down the Volga River via Kostroma, Uglich and Yaroslavl, the historical cities of Upper Volga region of Russia. A special sightseeing program along the route and a set of social events are also scheduled.

Program

The scope of the FNP-2024 covers a wide range of research activities of both fundamental and applied significance:

I. Nonlinear dynamics and its applications in geophysics and astrophysics;

II. Extreme-field physics and nonlinear processes in laser-matter interactions;

III. Sources and applications of strong microwaves, modern trends in nuclear fusion.
