Human Genetics and Genomics: maximizing power to address complexity and human health
- English
About conference
As the genetics community can produce ever larger datasets at decreasing cost, the analytical challenges that come with the rapidly accelerating accumulation of human genomic data need to be met with innovation and rigour. Addressing inequities through the inclusion of underrepresented population groups in biomedical research and novel approaches that take advantage of large sequencing datasets offer considerable opportunity for furthering our understanding of health and disease.
The aim of this conference is to bring together a global community of researchers to discuss the latest developments in human genetics, spanning biobank-scale approaches, functional genomics, bioinformatics and emerging sequencing technologies and analysis methods.
We hope to facilitate interaction between a diverse group of scientists whose pooled expertise and collective interests can spur new and exciting ideas and collaborations, bringing big data approaches and analyses to genetic cohorts across the world.
