Digital engineering of mechanical engineering processes and production
The laboratory's activities are aimed at solving applied problems in the field of digital engineering, multiscale modeling and predictive analytics of technological processes, systems, structures and materials in the field of creating digital analogues and counterparts of machine-building processes, productions and products. The main areas of activity of the new laboratory will be digital modeling areas that were not previously covered, to the required extent: casting processes, including using burnt photopolymer prototypes; electroerosion treatment of materials taking into account the physics and thermomechanics of the process, including taking into account the wear of the electrode tool; technological processes for the creation, installation and operation of complex polymer-composite products for special purposes; thermomechanics of functional polymer, polymer-composite materials used as protective, protective-strengthening and antifriction coatings and interlayers; thermomechanics of polymer lubricants used in friction units, etc.
