Supra(molecular) design of new light-emitting materials based on transition metal compounds

Population growth and an increase in people's living standards are key factors causing an increase in energy demand. Due to the fact that access to energy resources is limited, the global scientific and technical task is to find new energy-saving solutions, in particular, the creation of energy-efficient light sources such as high-efficiency color displays and solid-state lighting sources. The objective of this project is the directional molecular and supramolecular design of phosphorescent materials of a new type based on organometallic compounds of late transition metals, as well as the adjustment of their optical characteristics by varying the organometallic component and components of non-covalent interactions.
