The laboratory was established in 2020 as part of scientific and technical cooperation with Grintech Baikal LLC in order to carry out fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of pharmaceutical biotechnologies. On the basis of the laboratory there is a Small innovative enterprise LLC "Scientific and production Company Mikotech".
