Wide-range optical spectroscopy (spectrometers of radio, sub-terahertz, terahertz, infrared and visible ranges, temperatures 4 - 300 K) is used for fundamental and applied research of electronically correlated materials (superconductors, carbon 1D and 2D systems, ...), 5G/6G electronics materials (multiferroics, hexaferrites, perovskites, semiconductors, ...), nano-dimensional phenomena, biological objects and systems.

Research directions

Investigation of the nature of collective electronic interactions in new promising materials

+
The relevance of the proposed research is due to the fact that the characteristic excitation energies of the ground state (energy slits and pseudo-slits, collective modes, carrier relaxation frequencies) of the presented objects are on the order of millielectronvolts, i.e. they correspond exactly to the energy of the THz radiation quantum. At the same time, conductive and especially superconducting materials are extremely difficult objects for THz research. Therefore, the relevant reliable experimental data are practically absent in the literature, which hinders progress in understanding the fundamental processes underlying the studied phenomena.
