The laboratory was formed in 1996. The heads of the laboratory were Ph.D. Sorokin A.D., Ph.D., Ph.D. Pechnikov A. A. The subject of the laboratory is related to a wide range of research on digital systems, including high-performance and distributed computing systems. The laboratory conducts fundamental research of telecommunication systems based on stochastic models, applied probabilistic analysis, queuing theory, regeneration theory, simulation modeling and confidence estimation, as well as explores applied aspects of the use of modern digital systems and services, including interdisciplinary international projects using distributed computing technologies.
