The staff of the laboratory are teachers, postgraduates and students of the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Moscow State University named after F.M. Dostoevsky. The laboratory cooperates with other laboratories in Russia, Europe, and China. The scientific activity of the laboratory is devoted to solving fundamental and applied problems in various fields of modern theoretical physics: condensed matter physics, surface physics and magnetic phenomena.
- Computer modeling of physical properties of materials at the atomic and molecular level using molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo methods
- Quantum mechanical ab initio calculations in quantum chemistry and solid state physics
- Machine learning
