Department of Plasma Chemical and Nanotechnology of High Molecular Weight Materials
The Department of PNTVM is engaged in fundamental and applied research in the field of:
- plasma methods for obtaining nanoparticles of a wide range of applications;
- plasma modification of materials and products for various purposes;
- plasma modification of powders;
- production of composite materials with modified fillers;
- application of functional layers and coatings to products;
- synthesis of functional oligomers.
The department trains bachelors in the following areas: Materials Science and Materials Technology. Nanoengineering. Technology of light industry products and Master's degree programs: "Materials science and technology of smart materials". "Plasma methods for the production and modification of nanomaterials". "Nanostructured natural and artificial materials". "Methods of electrophysical and chemical modification of natural fibrous materials" The Department trains graduate students in the following scientific specialties: 1.1.9 Mechanics of liquid, gas and plasma; 2.6.16. Technology of production of textile and light industry products; 2.6.17 Materials Science
