Synthesis and research of porphyrins
Synthesis of new tetrapyrrole macrocycles (porphyrins and their analogues) and investigation of their properties. The use of the obtained compounds as photosensitizers in medicine, photovoltaics, photocatalysis, and optical sensors.
Development of new catalytic methods
Search for new and improvement of known catalytic reactions, search for new affordable and effective catalysts. Investigation of the mechanism of catalytic reactions. Application in the synthesis of valuable products and materials.
