Abstract
In recent years, catalytic transfer deuteration and hydrodeuteration techniques are emerging as powerful methods for the selective installation of deuterium into small molecules. In this minireview, recent advances for the application of these reactions in the selective deuteration of alkenes and alkynes are discussed.
