Abstract
Multi-metallization of intermetallic NiGa formed high-entropy intermetallcis represented as (NiFeCu)(GaGe), which worked as a highly active and selective catalyst for acetylene semihydrogenation. Overhydrogenation of ethylene was completely inhibited even at complete conversion of acetylene. Moreover, the specific activity was at least five times higher than those in reported systems using selective Ni- and Cu-based catalysts.
