Abstract
TrkA and TrkB knockout HT-22 cell lines were used to prove that the neuroprotective properties of GK-2 [bis(N-monosuccinyl-L-glutamyl-L-lysine hexamethylenediamide], a low-molecular-weight dipeptide mimetic of the NGF 4th loop, are definitely mediated by selective interaction with TrkA receptor upon oxidative stress-induced cellular damage in vitro.
