Abstract
A regioselective method was developed for the carbometallation of higherα-olefins using Et3Al and Et2AlCl in the presence of titanium and zirconium complexes which permits the preparation of higher trialkylaluminums and dialkylaluminum halides in high yield under mild conditions in one step.
