Abstract

(2S, 5S) pyrrolidine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid 1 was synthesized from (5S) N-methoxycarbonyl-5-ethoxyethoxy-methyl pyrrolidin-2-one 2 by a simple and efficient way. 1
