Abstract
New glycosylated alkyl glycerolipids bearing a cationic group at the C6 position of sugar moiety have been synthesized and tested as potential anticancer drugs. The compounds demonstrated cytotoxicity and selectivity against tumor cells at low micromolar concentration.
