The stepwise synthesis of polynaphthoylenebenzimidazoles

Abstract
An identification method for the prepolymer of polynaphthoylenebenzimidazole (PNBI) has been worked out on the basis of 13 C—{ 1 H} spectroscopy; a quantitative evaluation of the amino-amide and naphthoylenebenzimidazole fragment contents in the polymers has been carried out.
