Краткое описание
The stability of emulsions stabilized by solid particles is determined by hydrophile-lipophile balance of the particles calculated using hysteresis contact angles. The stability factors as the particle attachment energy and the capillary pressure in the emulsion film are examined. The conditions of the phase inversion in emulsions stabilized by solid particles are discussed.
