Abstract
The present study deals with the synthesis and characterization of oil-in-water nanoemulsion systems for application in enhanced oil recovery (EOR). Nanoemulsions stabilized by N,N′-bis((dimethyltetradecyl)-1,6-hexanediammonium bromide) gemini surfactant (14-6-14 GS), partially hydrolyzed poly-acrylamide (PHPA) polymer and/or silica (SiO2) nanoparticle were synthesized by ultrasonication technique.
