Abstract
Enantioselective hydrogenation of quinolines and quinoxalines catalyzed by iridium/diphosphine complex with catalytic amount of Bronsted acid as activator was developed. In the presence of piperidine·TfOH as the activator, full conversions and up to 92% ee were obtained.
