Abstract
The description of the stability index of the residue marine fuels, whose technology of production is based on the compounding visbreaking residue, light cycle gas oil, and ultralow sulfur diesel by means of a tricomponent phase diagram, is presented in this article. This method allows determination of the possible blend composition of residue marine fuels derived from studied components and corresponding ISO 8217:2017 requirements, including sulfur content less than 0.5 wt % and total sediment aged less than 0.1 wt % Also, it is possible to subsume obtained samples to the RMA and RMB grades of marine fuels according to other characteristic values.
