Recent advances in coordination behaviour of 4,2′:6′,4′′-tpy and its 4′-substituted derivatives: chiral polymers, metallohexacycles, packing of extended aryl systems, paddle-wheel and larger cluster nodes leading to predetermined and unexpected architectures.
