Abstract
Abstract Ethyl 1,2,4-trioxo-2,4-dihydro-1 H -pyrrolo[2,1- c ][1,4]benzoxazine-3-carboxylates reacted with ethyl (2 Z )-[2-oxo-2 H -1,4-benzoxazin-3(4 H )-ylidene]acetates to give ethyl 3a-[2-ethoxy-2-oxo-1-(2-oxo-2 H -1,4-benzoxazin-3-yl)ethyl]-2-hydroxy-1,4-dioxo-3a,4-dihydro-1 H -pyrrolo[2,1- c ][1,4]benzoxazine-3-carboxylates. The product structure was confirmed by X-ray analysis.
