Abstract
The samples of hydro- and aluminosilicates of different morphology-layered (based on compounds with the structure of montmorillonite), framework (zeolite Rho), and nanotube (compounds with the structure of chrysotile)—have been fabricated under hydrothermal conditions. The sorption properties of the synthesized samples with respect to lead ions have been studied. A comparison of sorption characteristics of synthetic materials with those of their natural analogs has been performed. It has been established that the efficiency of sorption of synthetic hydro- and aluminosilciates is not inferior, but, in a number of cases, significantly surpasses that of natural analogs.
