Laboratory of chemistry of silicate sorbents
Our team is engaged in the synthesis and research of objects of different morphologies - spherical nanoparticles, nanotubes, spheres, nanolayers, plates, etc.
To date, under the supervision of Olga Yurievna Golubeva, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, a variety of studies are being conducted in the laboratory to establish the basic patterns of hydrothermal crystallization of zeolites of specified structures, as well as to develop new composite materials based on them.
The results of such studies can be widely used in medicine (creation of matrices for transporting medicines inside the human body, development of components of pharmaceutical products with antimicrobial action based on silver nanoparticles, selection of compositions and methods of synthesis of nanoparticles to create sorbents for wound and burn therapy), in the environmental field (obtaining sorbents for the effective extraction of potentially toxic and polluting substances from the aquatic environment, such as heavy metals and dyes), in chemical production (the use of nanostructures as selective sorbents).
