Abstract
Based on mathematic modeling and the experimental results on sorption separation of nitric acid and nitrates of various metals in solutions, the mechanisms of the appearance of the effect of acid retraction were studied. The method of calculation of the dielectric permeability and concentration of molecules and ions of electrolytes in the sorbent phase was suggested. The suggested model accurately describes the whole complex of available experimental dependences. The results of the modeling and their comparison with the empirical data are reported. The contribution of various physical factors controlling the change of sorbent capacity by acid is analyzed.
