Optical reflectometry, metrology & sensing 2026

ORMS-2026 is an international conference having the aim to discuss the latest fundamental achievements and applied developments in fiber optics and related fields: distributed fiber optic sensors; methods for sensing them by pulsed, continuous and complex signals; methods for recording and processing of backscatter signals; features of the application of reflectometry systems in the fields of science and technology, their use for high-precision metrology of optical fibers and cables; monitoring of fiber optic communication lines; theoretical aspects and backscattering modeling taking into account nonlinear effects in the optical fiber; quasi-distributed and other kinds of sensors. The Conference is organized by PFRC UB RAS

February 16, 2026 - Notification of acceptance of paper

April 24, 2026 - Registration fee payment deadline

May 26, 2026-May 28, 2026 - Conference.

Paper presentation fee: 10,000 rubles

Attendance fee: 5,000 rubles

Presentation fee for undergraduate and graduate students: 5,000 rubles

Attendance fee for undergraduate and graduate students: 2,500 rubles

Online presentation fee: 2,500 rubles

Online presentation fee for undergraduate and graduate students: 1,000 rubles

International participants pay the registration fee at the same rate, based on the Central Bank exchange rate at the time of payment.
