The Bionanophotonics Laboratory specializes in research in the field of laser synthesis of new functional nanomaterials and the development of nanophotonics methods for biosensing, bio-imaging and therapy of various diseases.

The laboratory investigates approaches to the synthesis of mono- and polynuclear pi complexes of d- and f-elements. Special attention is paid to the study of the activity of synthesized metal complex compounds in homogeneous catalysis, as well as the use of products of catalytic reactions in photonics and biochemistry.
