At the moment, the laboratory is looking for students and postgraduates to work in the field of synthesis of organometallic compounds and metal complex catalysis.
The laboratory investigates approaches to the synthesis of mono- and polynuclear pi complexes of d- and f-elements. Special attention is paid to the study of the activity of synthesized metal complex compounds in homogeneous catalysis, as well as the use of products of catalytic reactions in photonics and biochemistry.
- NMR spectroscopy
- IR spectroscopy
- X-ray diffraction analysis

Research directions
Synthesis of polyheteroaromatic compounds with interesting optical properties
+
The annelation reactions of aromatic compounds with alkynes make it possible to design a wide range of polycyclic frameworks in one stage with the possibility of varying substituents. The compounds obtained in this way may be of interest to photonics.
Chemical and catalytic properties of rhodium indenyl complexes
+
A huge number of catalytic reactions are carried out using semi-sandwich rhodium complexes, where the cyclopentadienyl anion plays the role of a pi-coordinated ligand. The indenyl anion is isolobal to the cyclopentadienyl and can be used instead. Indenyl complexes are more active due to the so-called indenyl effect. Unfortunately, indenyl complexes are still poorly understood.
We are investigating the synthesis pathways of indenyl rhodium complexes and exploring the possibility of their use in catalysis.
The effect of non-covalent interactions on the regioselectivity of C-H activation reactions
+
Often, a pair of regioisomers can form as a result of the reaction, we study the factors influencing the bifurcation of the reaction pathway, and look for ways to selectively conduct reactions
