The study of the major protein of mRNP complexes YB-1 and its homologues.
In addition to studying the properties and functions of the Y-box binding protein, the group also deals with other problems of molecular biology:
- Transcriptional-translational coregulation in the mTOR-mediated translational response.
- Transcription factors in the promoter regions of mTOR mRNA targets.
- Negative selection of mutations in transcription factor binding sites in cancer.
