The unique automated laboratory measuring complex RSM-500

Authorization required.

The laboratory specializes in studying the electronic structure of a solid by ultra-soft X-ray emission spectroscopy. The main instrument of the laboratory is the Unique Automated Laboratory Measuring Complex RSM-500. UNU RSM-500 is used for non-destructive studies of the electron energy spectrum of the valence band (distribution of the local partial density of states), semi-quantitative analysis of the phase composition, and studies of the specifics of the local environment of aluminum, silicon, and phosphorus atoms, which are among the main ones in modern micro-nano- and optoelectronics.

Research directions

Metastable phases in metal-silicon nanocomposites

+
At the moment, our laboratory is actively working on the study of the electronic structure of metastable phases of the Me3Si type formed in ion beam and magnetron films.

Analysis of the electronic structure of high-resistance SiOx films

+
The laboratory is currently analyzing the electronic structure of silicon-oxygen tetrahedra formed in SiOx films.
