The Laboratory of Instrumental Genomics aims to develop tools for genome analysis, as well as to obtain new fundamental knowledge about the genome, on the basis of which new diagnostic and therapeutic tools will be developed.
- FISH (Fluorescent in situ hybridization)
- Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
- Targeted Bisulfite NGS
- Work with eukaryotic cells: CRISPR-Cas9 cell modification, production of stably transduced cell lines, knockdown, superexpression, functional tests

Analysis of methylation disorders in miscarriage
+
The study tests the hypothesis of large-scale violations of the placental methylome associated with various pregnancy complications. For the first time, the prevalence of disorders of methylation of spiral artery remodeling genes and placental morphogenesis in the chorion of spontaneous abortions and their effect on the expression of these genes will be determined. This will make it possible to complete the picture of the causes of embryo death in the early stages and the role of epigenetic mechanisms in embryogenesis. For the first time, the degree of overlap of methylation disorders in the placenta in various pathologies of pregnancy will be determined. A unique biobank of tissues of spontaneous abortions with karyotype control and the most modern methods of methylome and transcriptome analysis are used for the study.
