Lab team

The main goal of the laboratory is the development, synthesis and modification of materials based on phthalocyanines, their analogues - porphyrazines and homologues with contracted macrocycle (corrolazines and subphthalocyanines) for application in organic electronics, catalysis and medicine. The main task of the laboratory is to solve scientific problems in the field of (macro)heterocyclic compounds.

Research directions

Synthesis and Catalysis Application Exploration of Porous Macrocyclic Supramolecular Crystalline Frameworks

+
Group-leader: Prof. Dr. Pavel A. Stuzhin. Design and synthesis of new porous supramolecular frameworks based on macrocycles. Application of supramolecular porous frameworks based on macrocycles (MMOF, MHOF) in catalysis. Establishing structure-activity relationships in terms of micro-, meso- and macroscopic structural effects.

Hybrid photoactive materials based on subphthalocyanines

Hybrid photoactive materials based on subphthalocyanines
Group-leader: PhD Ivan Skvortsov. The focus of the group participants is on obtaining and studying the properties of new photoactive materials based on subphthalocyanine dyes and various matrices (graphite and graphene-like materials: carbon nitride, graphene oxide; silica, TiO2, MOFs, etc.). The research topics are multifaceted, since they include the need for close interdisciplinary interaction in the field of chemical materials science, organic synthesis and catalysis. The obtained dispersed materials with various types of dye-matrix interaction can find application in photocatalytic applications in large-scale and small-scale chemistry, ecology and biomedicine. Particular attention is paid to the reactions of selective oxidation of various substrates with pharmacophoric functional groups, as well as model systems simulating organic pollutants in vitro (e.g. polyaromatic hydrocarbons, antibiotics, textile dyes).
