Hsiao Chiu-Ming is an Assistant Professor in Department of Finance of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan (No. 123, Section 3, University Road, Douliu, Yunlin County, Taiwan, R.O.C.) from August 2020.
Dr. Hsiao has earned his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate Institute of Finance of National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan (No. 168, University Road, Minhsiung, Chiayi County, Taiwan, R.O.C.) on July 29, 2019.
Dr. Hsiao has certificated the Logistics Manager and Logistics Planner by Taiwan Mobile Commerce Association on September 23, 2015.
Dr. Hsiao has certificated the MTA: Introduction to Programming Using Python - Certified 2020 by Microsoft. It validates the skills and knowledge to recognize and write syntactically correct Python code, recognize data types supported by Python, and the ability to recognize and write Python code that will logically solve a given problem.
Dr. Hsiao has certificated the Lead Auditor of ISO 14046-1: 2018 and ISO 14067: 2018 by SGS Taiwan Ldt. Knowledge on May 4, 2022. Furthermore, he has passed the courses of ISO 14064-2: 2019 by SGS Taiwan Ldt. Knowledge in November, 2022.
Dr. Hsiao has certificated the Lead Auditor of PAS2060: 2014 by SGS Taiwan Ldt. Knowledge on April 21, 2023.
Dr. Hsiao has completed the ESG Sustainability Reporting conducted by the China Productivity Center on July 20, 2023.
Dr. Hsiao has completed the "Life Design Card Professional Practitioner Foundational Training Workshop" from August 25-28, 2023. He was subsequently hired as a Career Mentor at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology for a period of three years from August 2023 to July 2025. Recently, he also participated in some training courses from 2024 June to 2024 August for the 2024 Career Counseling Seed Teacher Training Program for colleges and universities organized by the Youth Development Agency of the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, R.O.C.
Dr. Hsiao has received the "European Union CBAM Form Filling Practical Training" course from the Taiwan Metal Research and Development Center on March 26, 2024.
Dr. Hsiao has certificated the ESG Senior Manager by Taiwan Industrial Susbtainable Development Association on March 30, 2024.
Dr. Hsiao has completed the online training course for energy conservation managers organized by Delta Electronics Foundation from May 10, 2024 to July 10, 2024, and passed the test as an energy conservation manager on July 12, 2024.
2024/11/02-2025/01/12 completed the 41st CDA International Career Development Consultant Certification Course held by TSquare Life Design Co., Ltd. Taiwan. In addition, on June 5, 2025, Hsiao obtained the certification from the National Career Development Association (Oklahoma, USA) and officially became a Career Development Advisor (CDA).
2025/05/23 completed the course of Vibe Coding held by Ministration of Education, Taiwan.
2025/08/18-28 completed the beginner's course of EMI teacher and micro-teaching.
