About

Ayenachew Alemayhou Desta graduated from Bahir Dar University with a bachelor’s degree in geology in 2014 with honors. After graduation, he is directly employed as an assistant lecturer due to his best attainments during coursework. In 2018, he got a government scholarship to pursue graduate studies at Addis Ababa University, and he obtained a master’s degree in geological sciences (petrology) with distinction. Currently, he is working as a lecturer at Bahir Dar University, School of Earth Sciences. Besides teaching, Ayenachew took part in national geological research and mineral exploration projects as well. He has presented parts of his research at the annual Earth Science conferences.
