Xiao Jing is currently a Ph.D. student in Computational Science and Engineering (an interdisciplinary degree with Aerospace Engineering) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), causal inference, and foundation models applied to physical systems such as fluid dynamics. He is an ORISE Graduate Research Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) through the Graduate Research at ORNL (GRO) program, and is currently participating in research focused on advancing scalable AI approaches for modeling complex physical phenomena, including fluid dynamics, using data-driven learning methods adaptable to a range of scientific domains. His long-term goal is to advance the integration of AI and scientific modeling to solve complex engineering problems in academic or applied research settings.
