About
Doctor Kim holds the Leader of KISEC Company. He is expert in base isolation and vibration control with a particular focus on steel and steel-concrete composite buildings under earthquake loading. Previously he served as senior researcher in R&D center of KDPT Co., Ltd. and DRB Co., Ltd. and as research professor of the school of civil, environmental and architectural engineering of Korea University. He received his Ph.D. in structural engineering (2005) from Hanyang University in Korea.
