Dr. Ravi Nath Tiwari is currently a researcher at the Thermochemical Power Group (TPG) at the University of Genova, Italy. He recently completed his PhD as part of the prestigious NextMGT MSCA ETN EU Horizon 2020 project. His doctoral research focused on the design and development of reversible bladeless Tesla machines for compact and lightweight applications, contributing to advancements in energy efficiency and low-emission technologies. His expertise extends to micro gas turbines (MGT) and their configurations for sustainable power generation, energy storage integration, and decarbonization strategies.

Prior to his PhD, he pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Energy Systems with a specialization in New Energy Technologies at INP Toulouse, France. His master's research was dedicated to the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of an Isolated Hybrid Microgrid with Hydrogen Production and Storage, emphasizing sustainability and the optimization of renewable energy systems.

Before transitioning into academia, Dr. Tiwari accumulated over eight years of industrial experience in the renewable energy sector, specializing in project management, quality assurance, and system optimization. He has successfully executed and overseen more than 600 MW of wind and solar energy projects across India while working with renowned companies such as Enercon, SGS India, and TUV-R India. Additionally, he holds an M.Tech in Quality Management from BITS Pilani, further reinforcing his expertise in process optimization and system reliability.

His research interests include bladeless turbomachinery, low-emission technologies, micro gas turbines, energy storage solutions, and renewable energy integration. Through his multidisciplinary expertise, he aims to drive innovations that contribute to a sustainable energy future.
