🌿 I am passionate about advancing urban sustainability through innovative Nature-based Solutions. My research focuses on developing comprehensive frameworks for evaluating inclusive climate actions in urban environments. Currently, I am working on a transformative project that combines social impact assessment with cutting-edge digital technologies. My work centers on creating an interactive digital platform that revolutionizes how we implement Nature-based Solutions in cities. This platform serves as a bridge between public administration and citizens, ensuring equitable participation in environmental decision-making processes. Through systematic evaluation of institutional conditions and planning principles, we're identifying key factors that drive successful implementation of green initiatives.

🎓Previously junior researcher specializing in socio-ecological impact assessment within the realm of urban sustainability. Currently contributing to the innovative EU project Varcities for Urban NBS at Eurac Research in Bolzano, within the Urban and Regional Energy Systems Research Group. Leading the Social Return on Investment Task analysis for 7 pilot projects, integrating citizens' preferences to ensure community voices are heard in assessing intervention value. Background in Environmental Engineering from the University of Bologna and Civil Engineering from Tabriz University. Skilled in working within European and international teams, with expertise in system thinking. Possess leadership skills, proposal writing abilities, task management expertise, and strong research and presentation skills.

📚 Thesis titled “Valuation of Cultural Ecosystem Services of Innovative Nature-based Solutions in an Urban Context; The case study of EU project Varcities in Gzira, Malta”, received full marks.
